If only there was a way to figure out what song he's playing there.

Can you give me any hints or clues?

I desperately wanted to go to that, but it was just too damn expensive. Nice seats there.

No such thing as too expensive. I'd sell a kidney.

This was a show that if you were on the floor, you missed out. Being halfway up on the sides was the best view in the house.

I did shell out about 120 apiece for U2 today, so maybe I'm just a moran.

Your musics, give them to me

The seats were the row right below the boxes...absolutely perfect to take in the entire show. Of course I dropped a bit over $500 for 2 tickets. A kidney might have been the better route.

Going to see Roger again July 1 in San Antonio. Got third level tickets, mid-court, for $60 ea. And as we know, those are actually good seats for Roger.

Went and saw Blondie and Garbage on Wednesday. Those old broads can still put on a show.

I saw 311 on Monday - not quite as old as Blondie but still a pretty damn old band. I believe their first album came out 92 or 93.

Those dudes don't seem like they've aged a day in the last 25 years. Still a really active show, lotta jumping around, dancing etc. I maintain that if anyone even semi likes them, they should attend a live show and I think they'll walk away a bigger fan. One of the things I really like about their live shows is that they play a different set every night. That's unique to them, from the bands I've seen.

Currently I'm in an Alan Parsons Project mood so I've had "The Essential Alan Parsons" looping.

The lead singer of Death Cab for Cutie has rerecorded in its entirety Teenage Fanclub's tragically underrated album Bandwagonesque for release on vinyl only.

    From the original album:

Man, my dad *loved* APP. Played them in the car all the time growing up and took me to see them live at the American Royal (no joke) about ten years ago.

I had no idea people actually listened to the Alan Parsons Project. Interesting.

In honor of our President's bold action today, let's go with a couple of pre-Nirvana alternative songs from groups that were mostly pushed aside and forgotten in the grunge craze. As a bonus, they both feature the great Kristy MacColl on backup vocals.
