    Game 3 Thoughts

We played basically a repeat game which should have allowed the other team to improve and play us tighter. We played without Doke who was sick. Without Doke we played a faster game and won convincingly. In a gym that was in the uppers 90s with no A/C.

And what's wrong with Doke, too many raviolis? Or too much fun yesterday? Or the heat?

We're gonna be pretty good this year.

Glad to hear we seem to be in decent form already.

I hope our backcourt just dominates Kentucky in November.

We should have a decided advantage on the perimeter. This will be as weak of a Cal/Kentucky backcourt as we've seen, and I'll be very interested to see how the DDMO operates without multiple NBA lotto picks. They'll still be elite athletically, they'll have good length, and they will have a lot of depth and talent down low. They will be a very poor shooting team and they are very young by even Calipari's standards. I expect them to be a very good defensive team, with elite rebounding. But their offense will basically be chuck it at the rim and go all out for the O-board. I'd be worried about us if we can't beat UK to start the year.
